Yell the worst insults at me in pure Urdu, I shall hug you.

PS: Is there absolutely anyone else in this world who’s seen Tumhari Amrita and found Shabana Azmi disappointing. Please tell me I am not alone.

The Story of Hate

"Love is not the opposite of hate, indifference is. Hatred is nearly love twisted, therefore it is not dissonant for a servitor of Hate to feel or even express love,"

One to Hundred

"Let this be my last word, that I trust in thy love."
Rabindranath Tagore (Stray Birds)
Agelessbonding: The hundredth one:

Disintroductions

Read this interesting passage about how every now and then you meet people you really dont want to.
When you bump into someone you know on the road you say "Hi, how are you...... blah blah..."
Suddenly, another guy walks past which Mr "SomeoneYouKnow" halts Mr."Staranger" and you are "Introduced"
Mr "SomoneYouKnow" doesnot even bother to find if you reall desire to be introduced to Mr."Staranger".

If only you could set up a system of disintroductions which would go something like.

Mr. White: Mr. Black, knowing the low esteem in which you hold each other, I have the honor to disintroduce you from Mr. Green.
Mr. Black(Bowing): Sir, I have long desired the advantage on your unacquaintance.
Mr. Green: Charmed to unmeet you sir. Our acquaintance has distressed me beyond expression. I feel greatly indebted to our good friend here for repairing the mischance of our introduction.
Mr. White: Thank you, I'am sure you will become very good starngers.

How would that be!!!

Agelessbonding: Reminders

Agelessbonding: Reminders: "Babushka "

...reminds me of my college days.

Babushka was supposed to be a special drink reserved for craziest of parties.
Here's how you do it...
Take one peg of cheapest vodka ...
(Not sure about the "cheapest" part, it was the default back then)
...in a tequila shot glass (Vodka bottle cap will do)
Borrow a match and light the thing. (Sorry Asha)
Now was the thing is still burning empty it into your mouth and GULP.
BABOOOOSHKA.

Ageless Bonding is a year old. Anybody got a light?

Material Minds

Lyrics: Raghupathy Dixit

From very young I was told,

all that glitters is not gold.

People smile at you with a reason.

Back you turn for a revelation….

….find yourself standing against the wall.

Pointed fingers won't let you stand nor fall.

Give them something more to feed on…!

…Material Minds….

Our souls are pampered with fairy tales.

It's so comical and tragical.

Wrong rumors flying everywhere.

Happy endings are becoming rare.

Screw your best man to save your skin.

Truth and Faith thrown into the bin.

Why don't you live and let me live…!

…Material Minds…

Antaragni, will be playing live at the Ranga Shankara, Bangalore, on the 9th of November 4 pm onwards.

Entry is free of charge.

Waking Life

Two Women
'I think that what we don't take into account when we're young is our endless curiosity. That's what's so great about being human.'

These are lines from this amazing animation movie called "Waking Life "

(Two women are sitting at a table talking)

2nd Woman: Yeah....Well, do you know that thing Benedict Anderson says about identity?

1st Woman: No.

2nd Woman: Well, he's talking about like, say, a baby picture. So, you pick up this picture of this two-dimensional image and you say, "That's me." Well, to connect this baby in this weird little image with yourself living and breathing in the present, you have to make up a story like, "This was me when I was a year old, and then later I had long hair, and then we moved to Riverdale, and now here I am." So, it takes a story that's actually a fiction to make you and the baby in the picture identical....to create your identity.

1st Woman: And the funny thing is, our cells are completely regenerating every seven years. We've already become completely different people several times over, and yet, we always remain quintessentially ourselves.

So, Whats your story?
