Dressage
"Slash had a field day as first Aviva Bidappa and then Hrishika Basappa rode it to victory"
I once asked Charan how many years it would take for me to be good enough to participate in a Dressage.
He said "At this rate about twenty".
And I was supposed to be good with horses.
At least Slash won

Antaragni 2
Met Raghu for the second time on Friday.
My first live performance by Antaragni.
Though the band was irritated with the totally drunk, mob of an audience, it was fantastic.
ELECTIFYING is the word.
The most striking thing (Apart from the drummer in tiger vest and lungi) was the fact the, for the person who actually wrote Cocaine, Raghu is an extremely happy performer.
And he is the guy who also wrote “Mysore se aayi” the song that’s going to make him big, commercially.
But then I have been wrong about so many people, you better see the video on TV before you go out and buy the CDs.
(Expected to be out by year end)
I also wonder,
What’s with my office that that this guy actually sat and wrote and composed all these songs sitting right here in this building?

Agelessbonding
"This pain of keeping the anger alive in the quest for revenge makes the avenger unhappy and bitter and in the end you are still not happy because by inflicting the worst punishment on the offender you still cannot make it all ok. "
WOW!!!

Narcissist of the another kind
Walking into the lift on Thursday morning when teased for the funny hairdo this one smiles back saying
“My face… I don’t mind it. Because…I am behind it.”
And then during a discussion on “Cost benefit analysis of moral behavior” that went astray over tea, I ask
“But then aren’t you setting your standards too high and losing a lot? Aren’t you setting yourself up for disappointment?”
This one thinks for a moment and says
“Yeah you pay the price, feels lonely lot of times…. But then I have to like the face in the mirror”
BEAUTY
PS: Post on “Cost benefit analysis of moral behavior” will take some time. Feel very under-qualified to come up with it suddenly. The research is on.

Antaragni
(Download)
I want you whole and I want you pure.
I want you true and I'll make it sure.
That I deserve the best, and I'll get my share
Why should I care what the horns bray
Just that smile turned on the fire
but it felt much the same like that shot of...of Cocaine
As your words come down on me, like the smoke of cocaine
As your lashes came down...my heart too followed...
Down and down ...deep and down...Down...
You had the smell of your skin, damn it , if that's a sin...
But, I loved your game 'cos it smelt...like Cocaine
I know you are thrilling, but I know I'm dying.
You're killing me, killing my mind, killing my soul...
And I know, you're killing me slow...Killing slow...like cocaine
Times when I cried for you, swore I'd die for you.
I'm just the only one who loved you true.
Do anything you said...that's what I said I would...
I would sell myself, say lies for you...for me to be your only one
With your honey lips, you kissed me then.
The kiss of doom...you kissed me to my hell...
You kissed me soft...you kissed me fool...
You kissed my doom...you made a fool...with your Cocaine
